I hear beats all day long... but that moment when I heard little babies heart beat at the first ultrasound was so overwhelming exciting I'm sure I was in shock. I've never heard a beat that instilled such pride and excitement as this. Such innocence and excitement, there was a flash of a life that would become a part of mine. By extension, this beat, it's a continuation of a love that will live on past my days. I could see and currently am envisioning the future, with all its fears and worries as well as the achievements and triumphs a future life could hold. Pure joy. I look forward to seeing more.
